Building Twin — buildings that report their health

A live twin of the built estate: every building in one model, plant and structure reporting condition continuously, so maintenance is planned on evidence — not callouts. Asset health at city scale.

What we built

One pane of glass across every building you own

Estates teams inherit a patchwork — spreadsheets, siloed BMS data and reactive callouts. Building Twin replaces it with one live model of the whole estate: fly to a site, open its asset register, and see condition, service history and risk per unit — down to pumps, AHUs, lifts and meters. Every reading is kept, every intervention dated, and predicted failures are raised before anyone phones them in.

The estate in one model

Schools, depots, offices - one model for any typology, navigable from city scale down to a single asset.

Unit-level asset health

Condition, service history and risk per unit, with the full reading history that makes trends visible.

Predictive maintenance

Failures predicted and raised before the callout, so budgets go to planned work instead of emergencies.

The engineering

Built on Microsoft .NET

Building Twin is engineered on Microsoft .NET and Azure — streaming telemetry, a spatial estate model and asset registers built for querying at scale. It applies the same evidence-first instrumentation philosophy we bring to every platform: keep every reading, date every intervention, and let the data plan the work.

This project reflects the engagement-first thinking behind our gamification services and the engineering depth of our custom software development services — software built to be used, measured and loved.
