The beautiful tip of the iceberg
Most of what we build you'll never see. This is the part you can.
Most of what we support was built by someone else. When we take an estate on, somebody has to understand it end to end, decide what is safe, what is fragile and what it should become, and then own that design for years. That is this role: the architect who signs off every Azure design we deliver, hands-on with a senior .NET team.
Designs for ASP.NET Core and Blazor workloads against the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework: reliability, security, cost, operational excellence, performance.
Code, infrastructure, integrations and security posture, producing a written report, a severity-rated risk register and costed options.
Windows Server and SQL Server workloads reaching end of support moved onto supported platforms or Azure PaaS, release by release.
Networking, Key Vault, backup and disaster recovery with agreed RTO and RPO, and the runbooks that prove they work.
Bicep or Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines and blue-green release patterns, so every estate can be rebuilt from its repository.
What is reaching end of support, what it costs to move, and what to leave alone, explained to a finance director.
