Our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains.
Last updated: July 2023
This statement sets out the steps Assemblysoft Ltd takes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains, and to identify and reduce the risks associated with them.
Assemblysoft is opposed to all forms of slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing effective controls throughout our supply chains.
As a provider of software development services to clients across the Financial, Medical, Transport, Waste Management and Technology sectors, we rely on a supply chain of predominantly UK-based suppliers, together with specialist contractors engaged during periods of peak demand.
Where we engage external contractors, we operate through documented communication systems and regulated platforms offering escrow fund protection and established arbitration processes, so that contractors are protected and paid for the work they deliver.
We evaluate the practices of our suppliers for legal and ethical compliance and communicate our anti-slavery expectations to them.
We run regular programmes to educate our staff on the risks of modern slavery and the procedures to follow should concerns arise.
Compliance audits are carried out regularly, and whistleblower protections are in place for anyone raising concerns in good faith.
Our practices are reviewed periodically and stakeholders are kept updated on our progress.
Assemblysoft is dedicated to preserving the dignity of every individual we work with and to protecting people from exploitation and abuse in the workplace.
